Demiurge Studios is searching for a talented environmental artist to work on our next-gen projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create believable, evocative environments in low and high-polygon budgets. Experience in creating both realistic and stylized settings is a major plus. The artist must have a passion to create lush, beautiful worlds, but also be willing to tailor artwork to suit the demands of gameplay and technologies.
Qualifications:
* Strong traditional concept art skills
* Ability to design, model, texture, and light environmental objects
* Experience creating high-poly assets (models, normal maps, etc)
* excellent written and oral communication skills
* Skilled with industry tools: Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Maya
* 3+ years game industry experience
* game design experience/familiarity
Preference to applicants with:
* Experience with high-poly creation tools (Zbrush, Claytools)
* 2+ shipped titles
* BFA (or higher)
* Love for games, and who play them regularly
* Outside interests!
