Of course I'm entering this, what did you expect? I'm taking the standard "overwhelming cuteness" approach. She loves vanilla pudding and as everyone knows, chibis aren't filled with blood and guts, they're filled with pudding (like a pinata, just gooey). She's hunting angel chibis because they're filled with vanilla pudding. Her weapon of choice is a spork.

I'd be interested in what you produce with this .
Some geometry. 843 triangles so far. I'll see how many the spork needs before adding more to the body.
keep it up
Making progress, the torso is shorter and the limbs bulged a bit but I'm not sure it's visible. With the spork included I'm a bit over the budget but trimming down the center seam of the spork should put me a bit below again. The eyes and mouth are on separate texture sheets so they can be animated through swapping textures. I'`m not sure on what to do with the wings, I could add some polies to give them the right shape and avoid alpha completely on the model. I'll sort out deformation before UVing the deforming bits.
Progess is slow, posting mostly to let people know that I've not bailed out yet.
The texture is mostly temporary, drew some details with the pencil to see how they'd look. All I need to do is redraw the body with the brush (so there's anti-aliasing) and add shading, then she's done. I'm obviously going for a celshaded look. The spork will get UVed and textured eventually...
lovin it so far. loose the fingers
I like her with fingers. It would look boring if the hands were just an uniform color. As may be obvious, the lighting is painted on the skin. I've got 15 triangles and 256x128 worth of texture left. I could probably free up a lot of UV space by minimizing the size of the polies that just end up with solid color but I went for skinning flexibility instead. No alpha was used. I think the shoulders need some help with deformation...
Everything is very tubular, which devoids her of having any femeninity in her shape.
