haha hey dude, good job. I'm using it @ work right now.
small request, can you make the bg of text fields within windows default white? it's a weird teal at the moment and makes it hard to read via MSN, pandion, etc etc..

EDIT: Nevermind, can do all that malarky in the advanced options.

yay1 glad you like it! .. and its true what they say! once you go dark you can never go back.. lol

i changed the colors using this program

but since i tought you probably didnt have it.. i saved it as a .theme from the visualization properties tab.

I use the dark theme in Max aswell and I'm completely loving this theme. It needs tweaks though, as sometimes white text is on a white BG, or black text is on a dark bg.

You may like the windowblinds modo theme then, it's dark, doesn't have a problem with PS, and there's nothing wrong with making max look like a different superior package

StrangeFate: the problem hawken said. seems to only affect photoshop CS2 i think because of the new designed tabs and stuff. $:\$ i wish they had keept the old interface.

I love my dark skins, the one I use at the moment is just complete black and is becoming annoying. Thanks for the effort bitmap!

I also found that modo one here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24653675/ You will need window blinds to make use of it, I'm pretty sure.

per's scheme indeed is very dark/lowcontrast, even for me. that photoshop screen is insane. designed for working in a cave?

i generally like and use dark schemes, though. black text on white bg is great to burn your eyes out.

annoyingly, many websites display crap now - light grey text in white input fields and stuff. thanks for nothing, you short-sighted webmonkeys.

and anyone running dark schemes with maya? why is my time slider now funky colored, like with a pink background that i did not define anywhere. gay program...

if there's a theme you like and dont want to mess with WindowsBlinds or programs like it then give UXTheme patch a try. after running just put your desired theme(s) in the windows theme folder.

now if i could only find a freeware global icon replacer
