Hexagon 2.0 for $1.99

Well, sort of. Platinum Club members at daz3d http://www.daz3d.com/ can buy Hexagon 2.0 for $1.99. I haven't checked myself, but others have said it's $29.95 to join, but you can cancel when you like. So basiaclly you get Hexagon 2.0 for $32 until May 31st, then it jumps up to about $260.

It seems to have some cool tools that would be worth it, the videod on this page http://www.eovia.com/products/hexagon/hexagon2.asp shows the sculpting and texture painting tools.

Still waiting for my free upgrade to Silo 2.0, which will have stuff like the sculpting, but I may give Hexagon a shot.

Looks like it might be like ZBrush without the weird aspects. Anyone tried it?

The videos actually looked good. To me it looked a bit easier to use than Zbrush...?

Might give it a shot, if the program isn't that good, you can at least tell Daz3d you're not satisifed and they will refund your membership.

From the demonstration videos it looks amazing, I just want to see if they're fibbing on the "one-click unwrap" feature.

It's feature rich, and excellent value for money. It was just too awkward for me after using Silo.

seems like a zbrush copy, but easier to use...might give it a try !
