This is a model I'm doing for a comp over at Tweak. It's a not so latent ichi wannabe... Really I just wanted an excuse to model him. Crits welcome, please ignore the arms and chest, will update soonish.

it's from the movie "ichi the killer"...i highly recommend it. pure entertainment. *warning*..haha...some parts may offend.

yeah i was goina say it but isis beat me to it... thats not ichi at all, i have 2 versions of that movie here on my desk, and whilei recongnized who it was, it was mainly cause of the mouth cuts,, the rest of his features seem pretty difrent, take some screen caps of the movie,, try and find other pics of the actor from other movies if neccesary,, capture his likeness without the makeup and then add that, your nose eyes and mout seem pretty diferent. and the small scar on his upper lip, did you just make that up?

acctualy it does look like Ichi from the manga. Yup. Is face feature are much more close to the one from the manga.

Actually, it is Kakihara, and I apologize for that. I actually only saw the movie once, and I guess I never realized that ichi was the guy in the suit, and Kakihara was this dude. Unfortunatly I never got to read the manga either, I rented it because it a Miike film and loved this character. Not an exact replica at all, I'm not shooting for that, just taking some ideas and giving credit.

Here's some updates. Something feels off proportionally to me, in which case I'll just fix that in the low poly. I need to get a better workflow for full characters when it comes to zbrushing.

looks good so far, maybe a bit heavyset, and don't forget the sewn up tongue! I rented that movie a while ago and i gotta say, the edited version is HORRIBLE. Much cooler in the theaters
