But which studio is it? The list for Eugene Oregon includes:
Buzz Monkey Software
ETC Interactive
Fireline Interactive, LLC
Free Form Digital
GarageGames
Lambo Creative
Pipeworks Software, Inc.
Tesseraction Games, Inc.
I'm not sure how far they'd get without an animator. But it's OK, they have a producer.
I shouldn't think they'll get many bids, since there aint much you can make in 90 days really. A basic handheld game perhaps.
I dont know, if were talking 90 work days then thats 18 weeks. If its an art lead, an enviro artist, a character artist, an animator, 2 good programmers and a senior game designer then it "could" be done.
They didn't mention an animator, and no offence intended TGZ, but having been on many many production lines, I can assure that you can't design and complete all the content for a decent PC game from scratch to off to QA in 90 days.
edit: well, it totally depends on the scope of course! If you had an pre-existing engine, you could make a couple of working levels for sure, but enough content to string together to call a whole game? No way. But it really depends on the scope and type of game of course. You could make Pong no problem.
"Q: Dear Sir or Madam, Is your team familiar with any 65816 Assembly Programming with extensions to SPU1+SPU2 sound engineering? Thank-you for your time and consideration.

A: We don't do work on the SNES systems. As for the PS2 Sound Processors, there are no 65816 extensions for them. Someone is pulling your leg.:
hahahahahah thats an awesome case of 'let's see if these guys are serious' and 'yes we're serious and you, my friend, are an idiot.'
Wow, I thought you were talking about Acclaim when I saw the thread title. That's two crazy things being actioned off in relation to game dev lately. :P
anyone remembers the quite similar auction from 2004-or-so where the former 3ds max dev team, or at least those that quit at autodesk because of the forced relocation to canada, was putting themselves up for auction? any known outcome?

Of 8 peoples time. The price sounds about right, but no one will bid.

It'd be better if they had more producers listed than art or design.
haha who ever said anything about a decent game?

and hence they'll get no bids ;-)
The way I see it, if you put everyone on 150 hour work weeks for the entire 90 days, you might be get somewhere

They will tell you more if you prove that you actually have the money to bid.
