yes, support this effort because that's certainly the healthiest thing for any relationship. but i guess agreeing to this in the first place spells a certain amount of doom for their relationship anyhow, so right on.

Unless they're completely cool with it and keep that aspect of their relationship open, something which no one will know. But thanks for taking this thread too seriously and giving it a sour taste!
"I bet this is just some guerilla ad campaign for metrodate. Lame."
Exactly.
Not only does he link there, he even writes a tutorial on how to sign up. Then he opens a paypal account to collect donations to cover his own bandwidth costs, because you know, he didn't think that 2 million hits would cost anything right? Then a "friend" just happens to tell him to add a legal line to the page. And I'm sure his "real" girlfriend would love having her picture up on a site where she's promising to have a threesome.
Mind you, it's a better fake than most. Give 'im credit for that.
April 5, 2006 8:30 PM - Getting lots of questions through email. To address some of them:
1) Only unique hits are counted; refreshing does nothing
2) Sorry I can't reply to everyone, I'm getting TONS of emails
3) Of course our third must be a chiquita bonita
4) Thanks to everyone who offered help 5) Yes, I get a dollar for everyone who signs up for a profile through Metrodate.
This is just in case nobody sends money through paypal.
hahaha yeaaah... thanks for being a part of the marketing machine though.
oh and brome: your threads sour the minute you post them, they don't need any help from me. and it's not like i posted my square, unhip opinion on the subject; anyone who deals with relationships in a clinical setting (or anyone with even a bit of sense about relationships) knows it's true.
Thanks for your contribution on the subject! A forum moderator being an asshole? Yeesh! I'd post more on what I think but I'm literally shaking in my boots at the thought of this thread being closed!
You know, I know I've just gotten back from the pub tonight, and had about 5 pints of strong lager and not much food, but still, I have clicked on the link and read this thread over and over, and I am completely fucking stumped. It's official. I have absolutely positively no idea what the fuck any of it is about. Relationships? Vaginas? The only info in the link is one sentence about a bet with a buddy and web hits. I feel very, very stupid.
hahaha! quite odd. Daz, earlier tonight the link was all about this guy betting his girlfriend that he could get 2 million hits by a certain date, and if he did, his girlfriend would agree to a threesome. there was also evidence to suggest the whole thing was just a big advert for a dating site. but somewhere past a million (perhaps due to the bandwidth?) it turned into what you see now.
i'm going to try something like this, selling space on my car to record labels. unless this deal with metropolis comes through, which will basically pay for my car if i just let them do what they want to it ad wise.
