Wow, those are some pretty stellar visuals for an RTS. I usually prefer my settings somewhat more fantastic in nature, but realism works too if its done well.
I hope it's not constrained too much by the realism. And I hope that if they allow anti-missile weapons they take the time to make sure missiles and non-missiles are properly balanced with the point defense in mind (something that didn't seem to be the case with e.g. Generals Zero Hour or Earth 2160). I liked C&C because the weapon balance made sense from the "each unit represents a group" standpoint while other RTSes often use the "a soldier gets hit by an explosion? Well, he's dead, of course!" logic.
Meh, if it doesn't turn out the way I like there's still Supreme Commander on the horizon. But that doesn't seem to have a release date yet, does it?
KDR - I'm defineatly looking forward to Supreme Commander as well. That game looks amazing. I also loved it's predecessor, Total Annhiliation.
JKMakowka - haven't seen that game yet. If Darwinia was any indication though, I think Defcon will be stellar. I got absolutely addicted to Darwinia, so I hope this next title of theirs is just as good.
Damn, some of those vehicles look like they're at the same poly count as BF2's, they must have some very scaled LOD models for zooming in and out! Looks neat, generally I don't like games in a real-world setting, but maybe this can rekindle some old Command & Conquer nostalgia.

There was this game some years ago that looked very very similar, both in terms of visuals and gameplay.
The Wargames videogame had nothing to do with the movie.
