Not to derail, but I just noticed you're in Louisville Slum. I was born and raised there. All of my family still lives in Fern Creek. Anyhow, cool zelda link, I'm a big fan of "most" things zelda!
Lots of effort, but yeah it still has that look like they filmed it with their parents camera (i dont think parents use cameras anymore.. anyways) Doing something serious is hard, so A for effort. But C for not Cquite. Links wig is horrid, that is what made it so bad in the first place.
I'd like to think of this as a previsual for a real zelda link movie.
Remember how the pre-vis for LOTR and starwars looked cheezy horrible. But the real movies looked fabuloso.
and acutally.. if some place ever made a real zelda movie for serious.. I think CG would be the way to go to capture the video game side.
nothing cracks me up like fan-film literalism... the heroes look a certain way in their favorite comic book/video game, so that's EXACTLY HOW THEY SHOULD LOOK in the movie. granted, it's occasionally refreshing compared to some of the awful reworkings we see from Hollywood, but it's still pretty funy. Link has BLONDE HAIR and a GREEN OUTFIT. not a shade of blonde or green can be off!
also nice crib from the Requiem for a Dream Soundtrack.
I wonder why they used that audio? did they think they would get in less trouble for ripping off that rather than zeldas audio??
I think Link to the Past was one of the all time best games I've ever played, I still own a copy. I'd love to watch this however dire it might turn out to be.
Remember LOTR director Jackson came from humble B movie beginings too! If this flick has grand ideas far too big for it's boots, I don't see how it could be worse than Dungeons and Dragons.
I'm pretty sure there's some sort of issue with that song from Requiem For a Dream. It's in movie trailors all the time. It was in one of the LOTR trailors, the Narnia movie, and just today I heard it in the Zathura trailor.
Maybe the song is under some kind of public domain license?

Zelda is right there at the top next to Mario Brothers.
