Web Design Poll - Fullscreen browser?

Just related to having my website updated, I figured I should find out if the majority of people browse with a full-screen (not F11, just maximised) window, or if they use their browser in windowed mode most often.

Additionally, if you browse in windowed mode, does my site (link in sig) give you horizontal scrollbars?

I used to run windowed, but it was full width, just some space at the top for irc and such. but since going dual monitor I have firefox using my main screen. res sits at 1600x1200.

Windowed most of the time, it takes up about half the screen at 2048x resolution and I multitask in the other half.
Both sites show up here without the bottom thingy.

well, when you're cruising internets with a super fly widescreen monitor like mine, sometimes maximized is a bit much. though as it happens, viewing this thread, it is maximized--because sometimes you just want to soak up all the polycount. now is just such a time. but when i checked out your new site earlier, it looked just fine in my typical-size browsing window.

windowed at around 1024x768 on a 1280x960 desktop.

Windowed on mine. No horizontal scroll bars then looking at your site, though, MoP

I window it when the monitor is big enough. Sites like bbc news take the mickey on a 1600x monitor fullscreen.

However on ym own computer it's fullscreen at 1024x and your site makes the most of the space that's there.

Full-screen on both single and dual monitor setups with a tabbed browser. There is no substitute.

Actually if she liked that, I just finished a quick cheap animation (for compositing coursework, it's a uni project so I didn't put too much effort in), but Tarsier is the character I used, you can download the fairly final anim here.

sledgy: Hmm, good point - I didn't think she was up to my current quality but I reckon a quick ZBrush pass should sort that out... I'll get 'er up

It will definitely be a nice piece finished. I've heard different opinions but I personally don't see anything wrong with using likenesses of popular characters. Look at Daz' amazing Bond stuff. If you can pull it off well go for it
