Well what makes this a not so good forum for 2D? The amount of 3d stuff?

well, this is primarily a game art site, hence it attracts modellers, texture artists and animators more than traditional 2d folks. sure, many of the modellers may be traditional artists too but likely it's not their forte.

obviously 2d work will be recieved on these forums, but chances are it won't get as in-depth feedback or as much understanding as it would if it were posted on a forum focused on 2d art.
