Concept Artist
Job Summary
Position available for Concept Artist to create inspirational and informative visuals for Next Generation original IP. Under the supervision of the Art Director, the Concept Artist will need to be able to produce innovative, accurate, to-scale drawings and illustrations from multiple views or full perspective of characters, architecture, objects, environments as well as storyboards, interface elements and technical art based on the Art Director's and Designers' descriptions.
Job Skills Required:
Wide range of character and environment work.
Strong understanding of light and color theory.
A portfolio demonstrating outstanding figure drawing, conceptual work, and fine art skills.
Ability to adapt stylistically to different design genres.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Job Qualification:
Minimum of one to two years of professional experience in gaming or related field.
Must have made a significant contribution as a concept artist/designer for games or film.
Must be receptive to art direction and perform well within a collaborative team environment.
Additional Skills:
Experience with storyboard creation.
Professional presentation and attitude.
Proficiency with Photoshop.
Sculpting or 3D modeling ability a plus.
Love of gaming a plus.
