Anyone know someone who graduated from there thats currently in the industry? Can you ask them to PM or contact me if possible. Need to ask some questions (especially about their modeling focus program).
If you/they are an american citizen, I hope asking about how you financed the cost and living expenses wont be too intrusive?

dont go to vfs just to learn how to model....thats a ridiculous amount of money to pay if thats all you want to learn, there is great resources on the net to learn modeling and this forum being one for starters.
If however you plan to learn more than just how to model and can afford it then why not, aside from the learning experience its a good year and you will make lots of great friends and connections.

Anyways, good luck on whatever path you decide to take.
The whole point about going to VFS is to help you create the best reel you can, while providing the best possible support and resource structure and do it in just one year. You can come in with established skillset or a total noob the end result is still the same, it all depends how much you can take out away with you in a year. The only question is, is it worht the financial burden, but it has nothing to do with the validity of the program itself.
get reference. match reference. don't do it on a pathetic large scale. zoom RIGHT in and spend 2 hours on the lips if you ahve to. it's this level of perfection that the school environment will push you towards. it's impossible to think that what you're doing is good when everyone else is owning you. if you can just do that on your own... if you can NOT get excited when you do something you deem as good, then it's JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION that school might not be nessisary.
but who knows. there might be something that i'm not considering. technique can limit you too i guess -?
