Daxter for PSP is shipping next week. As a Jak & Daxter fan, I was looking forward to this. Anyway, I got to try out the demo today, and it's great. Solid PSP Platforming game with a lot of variety. They gave Daxter a bug spraying weapon that allows him to hover around rooms, and adds a huge arsenal of moves and attacks. Additionally, because this game streams like previous Jak & Daxter games, there's NO NOTICABLE LOAD TIME. I know many of you other PSP gamers out there have been feeling the pain of long load times from lesser PSP titles, but it seems they've all but eliminated this. I'm definitely going to pick this one up next week along with Megaman Powered Up!
Also, resident Polycounter Jon Jones was a foreground artist on Daxter, contributing many characters, level pieces, etc. Congrats on shipping this Jon!

Surprises me that that's allowed, so far it sounded like streaming would horribly rape your battery life.
KDR, the battery life is on par with other PSP titles. The most severe battery drain comes from the UMD spinning up, which doesn't happen that often with us. Don't worry, Sony knows what's up with that type of thing.
Congrats Jon! It's still my dream to work on a platformer one day.
In fact, I'd love ya if you could hook a bro up with some inside images for wallpapers

And how do you think we managed to get GTA done?

You can see some of the characters I did on the 'My Fans' page. I modeled\textured\rigged Ximon, Taryn, Osmo, Brutter, the Hotelier and Daxter in his exterminator suit. That's on top of the 300-odd animated set pieces I designed\modeled\textured\rigged\animated for the game.
It's crazy getting to see my work out there finally. It's been a very, very crazy year and a half.
