Can someone tell me why my materials arent showin?

It seems to be just this scene file, but all i can get to show in the preview windows is a bright white or grey texture - no matter what material i assign. I've tried just about everyhting - the 'show in viewport' button doesn't work, assigning by dragging or by the 'assign to selected button' doesnt work ... i've looked over every option in Viewport Configuration and in hthe prefrences menu... someone help, please?

-edit: it has something to do with object properties - as the Cape and Sidearm object both show textures correctly....

You have like all of your objects set to see-through(x-ray) and your viewport transparency setting is set to none. That makes your see-through objects not see through at all, thus all ghey.
