Photoshop CS2 bug?

well i have been using photoshop cs2 recently and i find that when i am in it for a while it just stops allowing me to use some keyboard shortcuts. shutting down the program and launching it again seems to fix it but only temporarily. more specific it wont let me adjust brush sizes with the brackets. I ts really anoyoing and slows everything down. has anyone else had this issue? how can I fix this? or what other problems have yo had with this version.

I hate that 'paradox' logo that keeps popping up. very inconsiderate:)

I may be wrong but usually that happens to me when I've just typed something in to the text box or something like that. PS thinks you're still trying to type into the box, so it doesnt recognize shortcuts. Just select something else and it should work?

no im no ttyping anything it just decides it wont let me do shortcuts
