I have seriously never heard of games artists carrying business cards in the uk.
If you were a freelance commerical artist then yeah, but if you are woking in games, then there seems not much point really as the company would be sellig its own corporate image, not that of individual artists surely?
Yeah I have loads and loads but I dont have a scanner
They are usefull for trips to the states when we meet other companies developing on id engines. Its also usefull for impressing people down the pub.
A'int they cute? Need to make a new version eventually anyways since all that information is foobar. You can fit 12 on a page versus 10 when you go make color copies at kinkos (save your vector file in a eps or pdf before you go). So why not offer different versions?
Eventually will have some cd cards for those "VIP" contacts.
I must get one then , perhaps a really big one that i can wave in the air or print on a tshirt. Actually i suggested printing my details on all my texture pages at work, but they thought that I was being egotistical. can you beleive that?
Oxy- I have that gorilla in the last card you are showing. It was my childhood stuffed animal I always carried around. Our grandparents must have similar tastes (assuming that's how you got yours)
notice all the people with company business cards pixelated their numbers out, where as the starving artists didn't. Come on, I wanted to call you at work!

Good studio's know that networking won't hurt them...cuz it's a great place to work.
