So, the origami. Like a cross between a laptop and a PDA. Has bluetooth and it showed a guy playing Halo on it.

Personally, its not something I'll ever need, but it looks damn cool.

Rumors are that it will cost 500 bucks.

depending on pressure sensitivity, it might make a nice sketchbook.

If it turned out to be a pretty decent tablet for painting and was $500; it'd be pretty tempting.

But I have to resist! Expensive gadget overload! I must convince myself that my laptop and DS are enough for all my mobile needs.

my gut feeling is the pressure sensitivity will be nowhere near a wacom, especially judging by the full-opacity doodles they showed in the promo.. interesting product though

Yea, I kinda doubt it will have great sensitivity either, but its still a pretty cool gadget even if it doesnt

Well, Wacom makes the screens for the Microsoft Tablet PC's. So they may be making this one too. It's the same tech behind the Cintiqs.

I only think there is some buzz behind this because they show they guy playing Halo. Other than that it just seams like a tablet PC.

I think Gates himself said it'll be 500-800$, seems like an option for those who can't afford a Cintiq.
