In need of an Xbox 360 power supply

Anyone know where I could find one? My bro gave me his after he moved out to VA for his new job, but in moving lost the box with his controllers and power cables.

The controller and av cords I can buy, but that AV power brick I cannot find anywhere. I even called MS directly and they said they cannot sell me one. They would be happy to send me a replacement if I send in a broken original. When I presented my situation I essentially got a 'too bad.' So now, MS is in this situation turning a $500 system useless because a $30 cable is missing.

I'm wondering if any of you perhaps have an extra one I could buy. When my bro originally sent his in to get it fixed, they sent it back with an extra controller and dvd remote, so perhaps some other refurbisher out there got an extra AV brick?

These things are hard to come by, that's why they go for so much on Ebay.

I was sort of in the same predicament. It took over a month to get my power cable repaired. Luckily I was able to borrow one.

Unless I get it from ebay. It seems the going rate is $200 which is insane for that little thing. Here's to hoping someone has an extra for cheaper...

$150 for a power supply is insane. Personally, I would call MS back and play the "Customer Service" game, which is where you insist or demand to speak to supervisors/managers until you get one. Sad, but it works.

^^ that would be the best solution if you can find the connector. It would at least do until MS starts offering them, or they get cheap enough.
I find that extremely rediculus that they won't sell you one. They are just creating black market where people can get ripped off. I wonder what reason there is for NOT offering it.

It really is quite silly. Their mentality seems to be that they want all serial #'s to match up. In my case that's now impossible unless my dad back home happens to find a box that had the cables in the garage or something.

But even that's flawed as when my bro got the refurbished system back it came with a letter that said 'by the way, your serial for this sytem has been erased so thiese won't match the original cords, etc.'

I offically have a system that's off the grid apparently

Just call customer support and tell them you lost it.

That's what my roommate did and he got it in about 3 days.

The Hackaday thing doens't really work because you need the special honeycomb connector anyway, that's what makes them so expensive on Ebay. See...
