anyone try to take a 360 back to walmart?

I bought a premium 360 on the 17th and would like to get my money back as its been sitting since I bought it. Is walmart cool about this stuff or what? I know gamestop etc.. never take systems back. ugh, guess I learned my lesson with buying a console close to launch. it never bothered me at snes or the psx gen, but these days I dont want a $400 system sitting around doing nothing. Plus I just found out that GoW isnt out til July. bah!!!

I'm not sure how they feel about consoles, but I know they won't take games back once they've been opened.

Have you thought about just offering it up for sale on here for the price you paid?

Put it up for sale on Ebay - you will probaly be able to get more for it there then if you return it.

And if you opened it, Walmart will probaly only give you store credit.

Should've thought about this before you bought the system. But yes, prices on eBay are still pretty good for the seller.

hehe, how does the saying go?? hindsight is 20/20? anyway got an offer on ebay for 550 shipped. I think I'm gonna do it. I'll just nab another when GoW comes out. damn nice piece of hardware though. MS really nailed it this time. Thanks for the input, didn't want to walk in walmart and get rejected so I posted here. thanks again.

I think you should be able to return it to Wal Mart for cash if you have the reciept. You can probably return it for cash even without a reciept (If you complain enough). Games are one of the few things you can't return. I would at least give it a try. I used to work at Wal Mart.
