I'm probably the latest to head towards the recruitmentcenter, but anyways, here it goes:

An old and battered battle-cyborg completely void of all ethical constraints, excellent tactician and has a bizarre hobby of wearing others faces.

trying to finalize the whole thing so I can head towards texturing, colored some shapes to give me an idea for the texture.

first time unwrapping a model of this polycount, took some time, started on the texture.

Have to speed up if I'm to get this AND the base done in time :P, anyway, blocking out big shapes now and sharp edges, doing details aftewards.

The arms look very long. maybe it's just the angle. that's some great texturing.

partly the angle, but they were a tad bit too long, fixed it a bit.

a bit of an update, corpselike skin is intentional.

Great model & skin so far. I really like the C3PO-style arms. Maybe the feet could use some more definition as they look kind of rushed compared to the rest of the body. Otherwise, the only real issue is that pathetic cgchat color scheme..

should've thought about that, the reddish pink might not be the evilness polycount is after, so I'm going to improve on that one

well i wouldn't kill yourself trying to finish it given it's current state, but it's not impossible you should definitely finish it, regardless of whether or not she makes it into the compo.

with regards to the legs and such, i thought a quick paintover might provide some ideas for where you could take it from here, some different elements and such:

yup, even though I wont make it in time, I'll still finish it, the compo gave me atleast some creative boost :P

Those are some great ideas, and there's still a few hours left after work... Hmmmmm..
