Wow, I love the bulkiness of that model. Reminds me quite a lot of the Space Marine Terminators, but I don't mind that since they look really cool too
Maybe needs a little more to enhance the silhouette? That staff with the skull and ribbons on top would probably work best to that effect.
VERY cool. I'm a huge warhammer fan, so this guy sits well with me. I do suggest you use the big square/gear shaped shoulders in the first drawing. It has a much more original and stylish look to it.
my first design was based on the _round_ shoulders.. the idear was to make some huge ringactivators so he could carry very havy weapons.. but in the end it doesn´t worked for me very well

Very cool, I definitely prefer the one with inset carapace as well. The cog shoulders looked sexy but they need the arms extended out otherwise his arms looked like those of a midget.
