I saw <font color="pink">The Pink Panther</font> last night with my wife. This new Steve Martin and Kevin Kline film is by far, the funniest movie I've seen in many years. I rank it right up top with the Mr. Bean television series.

yeah i didnt like it at all whatsoever. i didnt laugh once, a smirk one time, with the curtains, but that was the only midly amusing thing i can remember.

The trailers looked pretty damn funny to me.

But, I always trust the movie critics, they've never been wrong.

Well, I've been told before that my sense of humor is off...and now I'm starting to believe it. I think the Mr. Bean series is the funniest show since Sandford and Son, while my family doesn't understand what I find so funny about the show. Perhaps The Pink Panther will end up being another of those jewels that only I will treasure.

Why remake a cult classic comedy? A action movie from the 30's I can understand, but not a comedy. Even though I haven’t seen the movie I can’t imagine Steve Martin doing a better job then Peter Sellers. What are MGM’s next project? A remake of Life Of Brian with Ben Affleck? Its a fucking disgrace.

Well, I dunno about "greatest", but it was a very good French movie. The American version was crappy in the extreme - they didn't need to remake it, if anything they could have dubbed it and re-released the original, it would have saved a lot of time and money and been much, much better.

I've seen the trailer for this new Steve Martin vehicle a few times, and it just looked like it would suck, now upon hearing it got 27% on RottenTomatoes just makes me realise I was entirely right.

Yeah, Sanford and Son is just a remake for Americans who (for whatever reason) might not "get" Steptoe and Son, even though the premise is identical.

Blackadder is hilarious. One of the best comedies IMHO.

I tried to see Pink Panther today, but the projector broke and they had to give us a refund. I think I'll go back tomorrow and see date movie. Nothing like a parody of American pop culture. Brits make funny. Americans make fun of themselves...or the French.
