I'm seriously tempted to buy one. Like, it would be probably seem like a cool conversation piece, but when someone asks you about it, you'll reply "yeah, I bought it off the internet" and then awkward silence would follow.

Leads me to think these in fact may may be from prisoners. Please, email them and see if they will respond where and how they get these skulls.
I could be wrong, but something isnt adding up in their statements on that page. In short, seems a "don't ask, don't tell" way of resolving any morality issues.
My gag reflex for death and decay is very shallow.
(decent reference though, I don't think I ever seen a male/female skull comparison in front and side views before. Leeching for the archives!)
