Well, I told myself I wasn't going to get in on the action in fear that I wouldn't get this done in time, but what the hell. Called a buddy of mine up and for now we'll call him SamuraiCop till he feels its time for him to release his work onto the world. Had this idea and ran it by him and this is where he's at. We're calling him General Varus and the mood we're going for is pretty straight forward. We want this guy total chilled out and relax like he just kicked some ass and this is the aftermath shot when he gets a second to catch his breath and light up his cig. Probably have him leaning up against some wreakage and gazing out for the winning pose. Hopefully by the weekend we'll have final concepts posted and for now I'm starting to block in the figure and prepping the base.

haha yeah i was just over there, too bad i couldnt see any art. apparently some cat vomited on the internet and it just
covered the entire CGchat site. maybe they will clean this up, i am sure there is art somewhere underneith all the vomit.
*edit*
oh wait i have just been informed a cat didnt vomit on the the internet and CGchatters are just horrible at art.
That guy does not look like a villain. Not even in the slightest. In fact, he has "real-American-hero" written all over him. He looks like a gruff seargant about to go kick ass in the name of justice and equality. Here at black and green, we're supposed to be creating refined evil. That guy needs to look much less heroic.
sweet jeff, erik is getting awesome at painting!
cant wait to see how this guy comes out.

I thought eric was ALREADY awesome at painting:
Some of Eric's work from imperator.
Eric and TK are loons for thinking their art sucks ass when in reality it beats the crap out of most people's work, hands down. I guess it's what drives them to make even more amazing work.
