I'll be trying to get something done for this. The idea I've got is sort of a cyborg troll with a big gun for his left arm. Not very original but it should still be fun. Plus I've never done high poly before and it'll give me a chance to do both mechanical and organic parts. Started a concept last night (haven't drawn anything in a year so it's pretty ugly) but I'll try to get more done and up tonight.
For the high poly model used for the normal map, can parts of the model intersect other parts, like can the mechanical parts be shoved into the organic parts, or does it have to be one solid continuous mesh?
Also, for the victory pose, are props part of the stand or the model? Was thinking about having him holding a polycount flag, would the flag's resources be included with the stand or would it take away from the model?

Got the arms, an organic leg, real rough mechanical leg and partial body, and an uber crappy head. But I think it kinda shows what I'm going for.
