Net Snippets is a cool research tool that makes it really easy to save web browser based reference. They support Firefox (though there is no update yet for the latest FF update)and IE.

The same company now also has a website and browser plug in called esnips where users can create and share web snippets by uploading them into 1gig of free space.

The difference is that Web Snippets is more geared toward a computer/pc based experience although you can share snippets by emailing them and importing them. Esnips is geared toward a web based sharing experience with free hosting for the esnips.
The basic version of web snippets is free and so is esnips.
