Hello everyone. Im having a bit of difculty i am trying to take some screen captures but I get viewport clipping since i have two faces almost right on top of each other. Any way I can reduce this in MAx or whats a good way of doing this? thanks a lot

You could do a regular scanline render, but maybe it would be best to not have the faces right on top of each other. If something is clipping/having z-buffer issues in the viewport, it might do the same thing in the game engine.

Or just hide the offending face (Editable Poly > Polygon > Hide Selected).

Programs are usually much worse with the z-buffer than games, in my experience anyway. I don't know max, but I would try scaling the model up, or looking for an option to increase the z-buffer accuracy.

Im trying to grab a screen of the whole mesh so hiding part of it is out of the question. Now that zbuffer seems like it might help, how can i change that?

i just pulled the planes a bit forward. not the best solution, but it works for what i needed
