hey all, I think I'll do one of these as well, been thinking about ideas for the last week and I did some drawings last night. I've got an idea based on a set of twins and another based on some large non-bipedal cyborg stuff.

Hope to get some concepts up within the next few days!

this is pretty much first pass atm, there's things I like from it and things I don't.

I've talked with with Ensemble concept artist Bart Tiongson a bit, and I think we're going to do a collaboration using some of the broader design elements from the sketch I did. i think it's an excellent first pass Jason. i think from here on out it's going to be about focusing on all the little character details to make it shine, and particularly on getting the bearing of the character right, something that speaks to "General" rather than line soldier. but she's got personality already and the Tetsuo tentacle rape arm is going to be pure money, we all know that already. keep it up man

Dirty dreaded hotness there dh. Love the use of feathers too. Post-apoc should almost always use feathers for decoration imo.

more concept work, refined the chick herself a bit more, and made her more of a higher rank, and added the general's pet, the lamprey hyena. By 3006 genetic engineering/splicing had become so common many unusual mixes of animals/aliens were commonly sighted throughout the 12 planets of the system. The lamprey hyena was created by request from the general herself, combining a parasite and a scavenger to unsettling results.

Bart's been busting out some concepts that I hope to see soon!

oh the lamprey hyena is just foul, unsettling is right. the refinements to the general herself are also top notch, the headfeathers and all the little bits of kit work well, good work.

the lamprey jives very well with her freaky arm, i'm personally not feeling the feathers.

the feathers are part of the slight native american vibe I'm trying to implement. After all the Age3 work I did, its just kind of seeped in to my normal artwork I guess. Her hair is pretty much straight up Iroqouis stuff, the Mohawk/bald head/braids thing. Might even do some of the body paint the Iroquois did on her but that'll be expiremented with on the texture pass.

This is just... just... fucking sick. I dig the feathers, too. Those hyena things are awesome.

You could make the lampey a bit skinner and show its ribs more to empasize the ruthlessness of its mistress how it affectes her treatment of her beast. Latchmarks from those tentacles (those could be barbed too) and a submissive pose could further suggest her temper if you were so inclined. How about some kind of object showing a connection between beast and owner, such as a mindcontrol-cylindrish object, or some kind of inhibitor? All of this should have it slavering in no time.

Would be damn cool if you combined it with the hagfish which produces retartedly amount of slime as soon as it is touched


These secretions could be toxic, a reaction when attacking, a pain response or just plain slimy .

Cool, I'm glad that you guys are digging the concept. DH is a slave driver for reallio. He had me working 24/7 on those drawrings. Anyway, his model is going to be awesome though, I can't wait to see it. Let's hope he finishes it...

If there is one thing I like about this entry, it's her name....Bitch hehehe Kidding aside, I wonder if some energy emitting from somewhere would make her look a little more 3006ish because right now, she seems to be missing any semblance of being in the future. No gun, no liquid display panels or electronics of any kind, and no wires. However, this is just a small thing that could be added if necessary at the end. Great job so far guys! I salute your b*tch:)
