I started altering the model to be more balanced. The robot arm will be smaller and completely cyber and the human arm will be completely human. I removed the naked hips to cover them, for material/color balance, everything else should remain the same.
the hips are still wip, just did a very quick zbrush pass on them more to come this weekend (getting started on the human part tonight)
I'm not pushing the details too much has this nice chick will have to share the 1024 with chico's mecha
I continue to alter the concept, the balancing is better with the arm like this now, I will also get rid of that strogg look, I don't like it that much after all so this will be mostly clothing/uniform
the sword will be subject to change aswell
better get on it! i wanna see this one done. Careful to not weigh her too much to that one side, she has the gigantic mechanical arm and the cloth hanging on her right side.
This is great, Vahl, very impressive detailing. My favorite parts are the boots and the chestpiece, but the whole thing is superb. Just don't get so hung up on the little screws and scratches that you fall behind, I really want to see this one done on time.
And what's going on in that last shot? Is that a texture or a paintover?
tinman : the mechanical arm is lighter now ( not in that shot but on the updated model I'll post soon ^^) and I think I will move the cloth thing somewhere else for balancing purpose. the shot here is just to show the new direction I'm taking I really want to do my best on that one, and as I team up with chico, I wanted to alter the model to fit the style of his meca.

switching to the head tonight, should be done with the low and tex by the weekend, then chico and I will have a few days to find a nice pose and do a cool looking base.
