Yep, looks like fun to me!
Only things I didn't like were the fact that they used the same music that the Matrix did (come on, there must be more generic-orchestral-dance music out there!), and the guy saying "Are you mental?" just sounded lame and out of place.
Of course, I'm gonna see it. Looks slick and very graphically styles. As well as having a lot of fights. I am really getting sick of dialogue these days... No one writes good dialogue any more, and I don't have the patience for "Quiet scenes in movies any more either".
First thing I thought, too, like Justin: How come Aeon Flux didn't look like this? I can stand to watch Milla for a couple hours. Hell, I have a list of women I could watch do dishes for an hour, and she's on it.
I just saw this trailer (or clips of it) on the Sci-Fi channel tonight. Is that Jem's "24" being played? Sounded like it to me, but I can't imagine how that track ended up attached to this film...
hmmm the dialogue was kinda'....meh...and the visual style doesn't grab me either. That song at the end is interesting. Who sings it? Sounds like Milla Javovich is singing it.
was I the only one who thought this movie was a comedy... i mean come on.. the opening credits tell you that it's going to be a cheesy bad movie.. the director totally knows it and makes it as horrible as he can for you.. miserable plot, bad acting, silly directing, miserable special effects....
Hot dang I loved it! It was like an over-the-top bad IMAGE comic book from the 90s....everything horrible about comicbooks thrown into one horrible movie... I was practically laughing the entire time.
Yah Rotten Tomatoes, a triumph for good taste!
I still can't understand how anyone could watch that trailer and think it was advertising a good film!!!!
Sometimes a mindless action movie is refreshing, Ror. I thought the trailer for UltraViolet looked much better than Aeon Flux. The style, speed and action in the movie looked really entertaining. I haven't seen the film yet, but I'd like to.
Yup, Chronicles of Riddick, Transporter2 and The Island.. refreshing mindless action films that I enjoyed for what they were... Ultraviolet still just looks utter bollocks though

I'll rent it.
Someone make a movie about fat ugly combat chicks already.
Hopefully Aronofsky's "The Fountain" will bring back some respectability to the genre.
is it that milla jovovich is too old for your taste?

I'd be willing to taste her to find out..
"Because I hate humans," is a great line.
