My studio is making a switch to Maya (not a minute too soon I might add) and we need top purchase some training vids. We're also learning zbrush, but i already have a handle on that.
i dont know, gnomon is rather expensive for what the dvds offer. if you want to become an expert maya user you are probably going to have to shell out 500 bucks or more. i suggest www.3dbuzz.com. they have a crapton of FREE maya fundamentals video training modules. taught me everything i needed to know about the interface and modeling. but they also have a dvd set that contains 82 hours!!!!!!!!!! of training, over 400 VTMs.the equivilent of gnomon training would cost somewere around 4 million bucks. the review i read was written by a max user and he said after he completed them he could pretty much anything he wanted to in maya, from modeling animation and texturing to scripting to setting up complex riggs. its 250 bucks but you wont find anything close at gnomon. i have several gnomon dvds but they are usually only 3 or 4 hours. 82 hours sounds more like you would be getting your moneys worth. my order has already been placed. here is a link http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/sv_info_mfc.php
Yeah, I'd recommend the 3D Buzz ones too, unless your company is letting you splash money around like crazy, then get the 3D Buzz ones and the Gnomon ones just in case

I have the intro DVD and production techniques for Zbrush and they are awesome! Your studio cannot go wrong with the dvds they sell.
