Title - Model/Texture Artist
Type - contract position
Starts - immediately
Duration - 6+ Months, with opportunities for future contracts. To begin on this project, we require a minimum of 20 hours per week of availability.
Compensation - competitive, depending on experience
About This Position
Were looking for both environment and vehicular modeler/texture artists for this next gen project. We will produce high tech, normal-mapped environment models and vehicles. Because we will need high poly models to use as normal map source and mid poly in-game assets, Modelers of both types are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
high poly and/or low poly experience
experience with texturing 3D models
experience with UV unwrapping
Desired Skills and Pluses:
at least one shipped title
experience creating normal maps
ability with hi-tech subject matter
Portfolio Must Include:
high and/or low poly environment and/or vehicle assets
demonstrate ability to model from concepts (please include concepts)
Portfolio Pluses:
images of game low poly mesh models and high poly models displayed as a normal mapped pair
demonstrate a strong understanding of proper model construction for clear silhouette and display of normal data
clean UV layouts of your models
