Hiya all,

I'm recruiting for a friend who needs to keep his team identity underwraps for the moment untill the press releases go out later this year. I can assure you that this is a real set of positions at an Austin, Texas game developer with a team of veteran developers. This is a set of people who know what they are doing and will produce a product. The postions are leads with experience. If you do not have experience as a lead, you are not going to be considered. Here's a cut/paste of the requirements:

LEAD ANIMATOR
- RESPONSIBILITIES
--- Management of a team including internal and
external resources
--- Development of the overall 3D animation creation
pipeline from process to evaluation of needed tools
- QUALIFICATIONS
--- Experience with a mocap production pipeline
including planning and managing a mocap shoot
--- One or more shipped titles
--- Preference towards applicants that exhibit:
Technically savvy with strong problem solving
skills
Management of external resources – especially internationally outsourced work
Expert-level 3DSMAX user



LEAD TECHNICAL ARTIST
- RESPONSIBILITIES
--- Working with programming team to help develop
tools to speed the art development process and
effectively communicate the needs of artists in
technical terms
--- Knowing the inner working of the asset export
pipeline
--- Assist art director in management of a large
number art assets
--- Day-to-day problem solving and self-prioritization
of tasks
- QUALIFICATIONS
--- Technically savvy with a track record of strong
problem solving skills
--- Help to implement next-gen art creation pieplines
--- Expert-level 3DSMAX user
--- Preference towards applicants that exhibit:
Technically savvy with strong problem solving
skills
Some management experience of a team or
outsource pipeline
Strong MAXScripting skills
Knowledge of HLSL or similar shader language
