Greeting all, its been a while since I've actively posted, yet some recent surgery has kept me out of work for, what it looks to be, a few weeks at least..
Meanwhile, I am trying to catch up on the news, board posts, pimps etc, and I recenty noticed the front page seems to be broken.. perhaps someone fiddling with a new pic of the day ? I am not home in front of my own computer during recovery, so I can't remedy it.. But if one of the mods may be kind enough to peek, it may be an easy fix..
Meanwhile I am going to try to get myself back to my own house for the remainder of my recovery, and I would like to get back onto the 3D / 2D refreshers.. lol I thought it would be a good opportunity to check out all the online tutorials and maybe even check out some of the published guides from some of our Polycount people..
Any suggestions for books, video tutorials ?? Remember I am for the most paet, a`ovice with the newer, more popular programs.. (Max, Maya, Zbrush ?)

Ahhhhh vicodin....
we found that out when my little brother got a really nice elbow to the face in basketball and had to get the same operation--even though he has a considerable schnauz, he decided not to go with the "free" rhinoplasty.
hope the rest of your recovery is trouble-free; my brother was in pretty bad shape after his operation.
i'd recommend some 3d stuff, except i really don't practice 3D actively all that much
thanks for the wishes for a speedy and painless recovery.. so far it looks to be one out of two..
Im going to dig out a few older Max publications, but I was looking to try out Maya and break out an old / new wacom tablet I never got a chance to "play" with..
Its amazing how I go from having NO time with work and all.. to all the time in the world with your nose in a cast.. LOL
