Not sure if you were saying you already knew how, but if not, and for anyone else who wants them played slower, Go to the Event menu on the menu bar and hit the bottom optopn, 'Slow' (or just hit ctrl+w). Should be in any version of oC you have.

And c'mon, more people post you events!

Hey all. Skrubbles and I both recently got hired at the same company as character artists, and we're tryin to do one OC session a day. We started 3 days ago and have... *counting on fingers*... 3 sessions done. Anyway, I dont really know what else to add... um... oh, his stuff is always on the left half, mine's on the right.

You know, if you want to make things a little easier, you can go to http://www.warpaint.se , download the program (it comes with OC) and you can connect to a server that is on the main page and have at it. It's the most recent version of OC, too.

I had 2 sketches of people that I Had moved off to the right while I worked on the little black and orange sketch. So pissed that it moves them off like that. Ohwell, live and learn I suppose.

Near as I can tell there's a communal drawing program or website that everyone has jumped onto. The idea, if I'm following it all correctly, is to hop in with another member of the board and start drawing something. Each person gets a side of the canvas, or whatever rules they want to set up really.

zatoichi - another cool thing about open canvas is that it records your entire session as a .wpe file, so if you download and install Open Canvas you can view the process of the entire drawing... obviously sped up.

OC has been around for a while, but I'm pretty new to it... its pretty limited on the drawing tools, but its still cool

Thanks buddy! I'm doing this because I'm suckin lately, so I need to draw more. Btw, cool doodles there... I'm trying to get used to the brushes myself. Man, I want so level control in OC. Oh well, and the newer/cooler versions of OC should have it but don't have the network thing (so I'm told).

It also solves a few networking problems and makes connecting MUCH easier.

Actually I did read it yesterday, but just tried it out a couple hours ago. Seems cool although I haven't been able to try hosting a server.

Still it's perfect for me, since I got a router it's always been a huge pain in the arse to connect to somebody

I would be clearer in distinguishing between the warpaint project and openCanvas to avoid confusion. The newest version of openCanvas is 4.06

You'll want the warpaint openCanvas client from the link Makkon posted, which is why I was making that distinction

openCanvas hasn't had collaborative art support for a long time.

Oh, sorry about that. Warpaint comes with OC. I havn't tried the actual warpaint program, might be nice. Maybe tomarrow. Thanks for pointing that out, Asthane.

gauss, mop and me did some OCing. Here's the result, although Mop had some trouble and we never saw what he was working on past that stage. His wpe got messed up, so I guess it's lost forever. :P

Me on the bottom, Gauss on the right, and the partial Mop stuff on the top left.

Not very original I know. It's all I could think of to sketch right now and I was getting a feel for the program. I don't have anywhere to host the wpe or I'd have the pic link to it.
