It's not claiming to be a replacement or betterment of an existing traditional instrument so why would the 'traditionalist whiners' complain ?
looks like a spasm inducing step sequencer to me. i can't see many musicians running round on stage posing with one of em either so, it can't be classified as a real instrument

Of course it can't be a replacement, I was refering to the 'not hand made' aspect of it, that 'traditional whiners' will probably complain about.
Argg, I hate the -interweb-, why do I have to explain every ironic remark? Well there a 'internet rule' that irony never works on the internet
i dindt watch all of it, found it kinda boring, looks like a electronic harp, you set it to play in a key and no matter where you touch it plays part of a scale in that key
doesnt seem all that innovative unless something amazing happend later in the vid
It's pretty cool. I'd happily pay, oh, $200 for it. Maybe more. To me, noodling around with that would be about the same as noodling around with my guitar. I can see myself sitting on the sofa, making funky noises, not worrying so much about my kids making grease marks on my Gibson.
thats pretty crazy. The start is boring... but thats the same as a video of a dude with a trumpet saying "this is how you hold an E," "Now, this is how you can make the note sound twice!"
that performace is prett rad, although i cant stand that digital tone.
