Personally, the hut rocks. I definitely love it, but I'm no expert texture artist, so I can't crit that too well.
The spooky tunnel however, is not spooky. In fact, it looks pretty lame. How to fix it? Very simple, just make the floor actually catch the light reflecting off the walls (or, the light that WOULD reflect of the walls in reality). As it is, it looks like a very simple and very simply lit environment. Nothing impressive about that.
Agreed, the tunnel doesnt look spooky at all, its a fairly nice lighting effect though.
The hut on the other is really good and it might be an idea to get a nicely light render of it.
ah, cheers guys, yeh, defacto I was thinking of doing the floor, I was just trying to think of an effective texture to use for it, I haven't really decided yet, but thanks for the crit, come to think of it, it does look rather peculiar
Really nice work!!! I dont like the walls of the house tho, theyre way too white for my taste, making them more yellow/brownish would make it appear to be older.

Why people haven't found some free image hosting for their works is just baffling. Deviant Art and now CGchannel has something like that they just introduced.
that someone is suprised a thread that was last active over 2 months ago has broken links is what's baffling. Are people supposed to keep their wip shots permanantly rooted to the spot once they've been posted?
