Cottages and Webspace

Whats the story with the Polycount cottage webspace? Are they something that anyone can purchase? On a cursory look over the polycount main page and searching through the forums I haven't come across any information about the cost and way in which one would sign up and whatnot, if indeed its as simple as this.


If this getting myself a cottage isn't feasible, or if there are better options avialable for setting up a simple, not too expensive portfolio website, I'm fully open to suggestion.

Jackablade I have my server space at yahoo.com It seems to have everything the cottages offer except you get your site name registered to whatever name you want, they do it every year no need to worry about it and you pay 15 bucks a month. the email client blows though but it does everything I want otherwise. Hmm someone told me of a place where you can get your own space for free with no ads but I forget.

By the way they have a sale on now. Seems good.
