Quake 3 Models, Help Please

Im using GMAX and I have everything done but I cant export it as a .md3 file? I have pop_n_fresh's md3 exporter but its not working, it didnt come with a readme and I assumed it belonged in the plugin folder in the GMAX directory, upon starting the program says DLL <...\gmax\PlugIns\ExportMD3.Dle> failed to initialize.

Anyone know a way to fix this? or another way to make it a .md3 file?

the md3 exporter that comes with Gmax doesn't work because the people at Autodesk are commies. use Chris Cookson's.

The error message doesnt appear anymore but there is still no .md3 export filetype, I tried manually putting it in, but it doesnt know the filetype?
