I started making this pilot guy last night. he is basically an edited version of a cop dude I am still working on. he can be found here:

finished mapping now getting to the texturing. here is what i have done so far.

ok...i seriously need some C&C. I still need to add a cuple of patches on this guy but he is 98% complete.

hmmm...if you are talking about his junk, he is in a jump suit . I figured he would have a bit of room in those pants for "things" to relax and not be bunched up in one place. maybe its jut me...you might be right

maybe work on your texturing skillz, look at some reference skins for faces, unless you were going for an anime type look
and use a different background color
and save it at 100% quality plz

MAD is my initials...Miguel Anthony Diaz. and thank you, i guess i am too cool. lol. it is suppose to have an anime-ish feel. i will use a different color, what color do you suggest? just FYI, I am going to be making his jumpsuit thingy a little more baggier. I will have to look into the 100% thing. I thought i was saving at 100%. MAD!!

I was asked to make his jumpsuit a little more baggy, so i am trying to fluff it out some. its a little subtle, so look closely. i did not want to go over board, so let me know what you think.

How about some wireframe or flat-shaded pics? 2600+ polies for that character seems a bit excessive as it doesn't look as though they were put to good use. As KDR stated, that neck is HUGE and looks like a straight cylinder from his head to his shoulder. His fingers look way too long and his arms too short. It would do you good to grab some reference images and work off of them.

here are the wires. I suppose there are a few polies I can trim up. not sure where though....i will look it over.

I remembered this from our old project. Man, the new verision in UDK is quite a bit sharper than this but at the time, this was pretty kickin in UT2k4 when we did the test runs. got roughly 65-75 fps on a 128 mb Nvidia agp. on the old 600 PIII. Man this takes me back.
