Edit: could it bee that your javascript code is b0rked? I can't change the 1st picture And the message window in firefox suggests that javascript doesn't know what to change it to.

The only way it works is by starting that automated dia-show.

Photoshop has done web galleries for awhile now.
The new version, CS2, does flash web galleries no less.
