Postal!? Come on!!!
I serriously think hollywood is funding Uwe Boll in an attempt to undermine games as an entertainment medium. Yes its rumored Gary Coleman is going to be in the movie.
As long as people keep shelling out cash for these turds, they will continue to make them. If people stop going to the movie "just to see how awful it is" they will not make money and therefore, not make another movie.
So, as long as people keep paying for this crap, they will keep making it.

Actually he's funded by the same loophole that some claim is funding Hollywood. At least my father is always going on and on about how Germany is paying for all those Hollywood flicks.

Boll's movies lose money but because of a loophole the gov pays for them (and of course, Bopll's salary).
Oh yah...I do remember that weird clause about the gov't paying for the movie. Sheesh. Well, sorry guys! Guess we keep watching them, no matter what! =]
This might help everyone understand why he keeps getting away with making crap. http://www.cinemablend.com/feature.php?id=209[ QUOTE ]
He should take his Super 8 and his tax forms back to Wermelskirchen where they belong.
Did that pass already? I thought that was planned for next year. Well, the sooner the better. We're already paying high taxes while the state is constantly bankrupt, we don't need parasites like that guy leeching off society.
Additionally now I know where the term B-movie comes from:
From IMDB's list of his films (http://imdb.com/name/nm0093051/):
Fear Effect (2008) (announced)
Postal (2007) (announced)
Far Cry (2006) (announced)
Hunter: The Reckoning (2007) (pre-production)
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2006) (post-production)
BloodRayne (2005)
Alone in the Dark (2005)
House of the Dead (2003)
aaaaahaha! I can't believe he's actually using that. In college my friends and I were being terribly intellectual and insightful, and decided that "the Reckoning" would be the worst possible subtitle to add to a movie's name. I've been hoping to see it ever since. And finally ... finally ... goddammit ... bless you, Uwe Boll, bless you.
I hate how he continually puts out this crap, it does nothing good for anyone trying to get a film made who just might actually have film making talent.

Wow that's a lot of wasted cash.

Not wasted, returned through German tax loopholes (soon to be closed), allegedly.
Unless you are talking about the people who paid to see his movies...

At least I can say that I've boycotted other game to movies though. I wait until they are free on TV.

Yes, it was funny at times... but its such a gimmic!

one of the best comic directors of our time
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I'd be interested in it, if they treat it as a comedy.

no no, I think this will be a decent movie.
But only if it's better than Falling Down, which is practically the same story.
The Reckoning
