At the beginning of the year I was offered my first, legit, texturing conctract with 5000 ft. to do work for Stacked. Josh Stubbles, or Vassago as you may know him, was my partner in crime on this project. He works at 5kft and it was him that I did level assets with. He did the models, I did the textures. I think at the time it was being dev'd for PS2 so all the models and textures are within those specs. The game is being released on all platforms. About 80% of the textures were created with photo references that Josh and his team got to take themselves from casino's in Las Vegas. The general process used was to source material types (ie: wood) and paint the details. Nothing besides the material was ripped from a photo and used as detail.
I'm greatful to Josh and those @ 5kft for offering me my first gig. It was from there that I went on to develop my skills and eventually land my full-time job @ Threewave Software.
Although these aren't as impressive as the latest character art dumps here at Polycount, I'm very proud of these none the less.

Josh should be posting in this thread with more work from him and renders of the game in its entirety to show how all of our work looks tied together.
Again, thanks Josh.
I think my favorite are the slot machines. Great colors, very vivid and alive. Do you have of the flats for these? Is the game being ported to the PSP? If so, did you have to change anything for it?
my favorite is the first bench. nice and simple and looks just like it should.
It was great working with ya Adam, and we're all damn happy that you got a fulltime gig now.
Oogh - yes it's being ported to PSP. Most of the enviornment textures were reduced to 1/2 - 1/4 their original size (most are 64x64, with a few 128's). PSP screenies are located here
Great work!
