I had to stretch my concept art style to find something the publisher liked:
The original Aeon gray outfit, before I found out that horizontal lines across a light color on a woman's belly only makes her look pregnant. So I inverted the colors:

Well, that's all I feel like linking. Like I said, there's more, just click the link. http://www.skankerzero.com/aeon.htm
Aeon was fun and challenging to work on. I was a huge fan of the original series, so it was neat to be able to add some of my own stuf to the universe. Never thought I'd get a chance to do anything like that.
I had my frustrations with some of the major decisions made by the designers of the movie, but oh well, I can deal with it. As a result, I pretty much had my own way with the alternate costumes.
Hope you like what you see.
John
Looks great. My fav was also Mrs Goodchild
Miguelito
Would love to see some flats if you can show em
I like the Mrs. Goodchild versions and the war version of aeon. I also like the versions of Trevor you did... I was only ever happy witht he face i made and not the body. Did my breen soldiers ever make it into the game? I noticed you made variations of em.
Nice work over all... oh and i really liked the monican weapons
quite a lot of work, and all what we'd expect from ol' Skanker and then some. thanks for posting it man
As far as answering questions:

Got any wires of her face? Looks pretty dense, or is that normal mapped?
[/ QUOTE ]
I didn't normal map her face because it never looked right, so I did it with geometry. My fault really, since I didn't give her enough texture density up there to properly hold up a normal map.

Yeah they did, I only adjusted the spec map a little bit, so I didn't feel like I should put him on my site. The variations to all the soldiers, officers, and troopers were done in less than 3 days, at the very end. We put certain variations in certain environments. The red ones were royal, and they were in all the secure buildings. the white ones were all industrial. That kind of thing.

What is the deal with the green armor/swords?
[/ QUOTE ]
They're made of plants essentially. In this Aeon universe, the wildlife outside the city has grown to be dangerous, so the Monican's use them as natural weapons since they can't really forge their own weapons in secrecy.

How is the game I'm still thinking about picking it up?
[/ QUOTE ]
I quite enjoy it. Once you get the timing down for the combos, it's not too bad. We built it in 10 months, so it's not as polished as we would have liked, but it's less buggy than BloodRayne 2. Once you get all her movement down, it's a blast to just run through levels killing guys left and right. In the end, I'd say it's a good rental for sure. We didn't get to implement the things that would have added lots of replay value, such as melee rooms and mini-games. I did, however, ensured that there was tons of unlockable art and outfits.
Thanks again for all the kind words. Working with a Hollywood personality is interesting, especially a woman. Working with The Rock now really shows me how cool guys can be when it comes to, say, the size of their ass. They don't care as long as they're kicking ass in the game. Needless to say, I learned alot on this game.
As far as flats and face closeups. I'll get those up soon. During the work week. So check back here.
I also came out on MTV plugging the game. I'll get the digitized version up on my site as well.
Thank you again for your support. I have alot more stuff, just waiting for things to be released.
Look for Spy Hunter 3 next year from me, and work I did for Adam Sandler's new movie, 'Grandma's Boy' next year as well, (Built characters for the fighting game and 3rd person game featured in the film).
Tata for now!
nice stuff.

I really like how you limit your colors - so did someone force the walker cannon/control drone colors on you?
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorta, yeah. In the Aeon Flux series, the Breen military had the unfortunate color pallete of baby blue and gold. Trying to stay as true to the series as we were allowed, we decided to use a slight variation of that for the military. So when it came to the Walker Cannon and the Control Drones, they recieved the same treatment as other Breen military equipment. so if you take a look at the other Breen officers and such, you can see they're very bright as well. The Control Drone schemes were also chosen because they blended into the background a bit too much. the brighter colors made them stand out better.
Here's the close up wire of Aeon's face as requested:
Thank you again!
Really nice work btw.
So I built around the scan, then had to adjust accordingly.
A+
