Pretty ballsy way to get your product ignored. Most people I know that have a PSP are not "hipsters" who are into drug dealing and street tags. Maybe they want to spend all thier money trying to trick people into thinking its the next big "bling" but really I would like to see some games. Not more movies, not "trick" advertising, not "trendy" tv spots, GAMES! Good ones too...
My PSP has been gathering dust for 3 months. I finally got tired of using as a very large mem stick/mp3 player and shelved it until I see some good games.
If you read the article you will see that Sony pays the building owners. So its like a poster only that its painted on the wall and it generates hype (as demonstrated here) so it works.
First time I saw them in NYC, one of the things that just struck me was who in their right mind would want to lick their PSP after having ridden around the city all day?

Actually worse, since it sticks around
