Description:

Model and texture characters for use in a state-of-the art, real-time 3D, next- generation console game engine.
Model and texture additional props for characters.

Job Requirements:

Have a solid understanding of human anatomy, ability to model, texture, and light low to high poly-count characters at a HIGH level of quality, be able to adapt to established range of styles and maintain the appropriate style throughout the project.
Must have the ability to take a drawing or written concept, translate it to 3D, and apply the appropriate textures while collaborating with other team members such as the Art Lead and Concept Artists and Animators.
3- 5 years of applicable industry experience.
Fluent knowledge of Maya preferred.
Fluent knowledge of Photoshop, or similar 2D program.
Successful Character Modelers are able to quickly understand custom toolsets and deliver assets within the confines of real time engine constraints and programming demands.
Works independently to complete assigned projects. Requires limited supervision on most work.

Job Preferences:
Strong traditional art skills are a plus.
Knowledge of character-rigging systems, Z brush a big plus
