Hmmm well it sort fo sounded like they are researching a new energy source with this Z machine which is very cool ,but since it's main purpose is for simulating Nuclear weapon explosions I feel less comfortable giving them my tax dollers .

They have to use these types of machine for something until they get to the point of doing actual sustained fusion experiments.
