New 2D Animation on NG

I know this is mostly a 3D focused forum, but some chaps and I just completed this stupid animation and I'd thought I'd pimp it:

X-Treme Holiday Super Friends
Episode 2: Buy Another Day
Part 1

Dr. Scrooge has developed an advanced technological wonder called the Propagando. It’s a massive mech-warrior style machine with numerous features used to “get the word out”. The most devastating of which is a large satellite dish capable of hijacking every TV station on the globe.

Once stations are taken over, Scrooge with transmit a hypnotic signal laced with subliminal anti-consumerism messages. The effects of such a signal could cripple the global economy during it’s busiest season and cause an idealistic shift to communism. (My god no!)

starts off ok, but then goes awry on the introduction of scrooge. Basically not much happens, it's confusing, and we wanted to see santa!

I think you should work more on your scripting and storyboarding and most importantly - show people - before committing to animation.

I had trouble telling what was going on, only after reading what you posted here does it make sense.

Loading percentage might be nice too. not hard to implement.

Lastly the whole idea that anti-consumerism equals commies is mad. Christmas can be about more than capitalism.

on the same page as hawken here, liked the animation, liked the style, liked the voice acting (scroodge sounds too much like hte monarch from venture bros tho, seems a lot like a rip of the monarch in many ways, even his mannerisms)

but it is a bit too random for me, some storyboard practice could really help this and turn it into something really cool, submit it to adult swim i think they have a contest going to find new cartoons

Excellent. Was like watching a spin off from a non-openly homosexual Ren & Stimpy. Very cool style and animation.

yeah it had all the classic ren and stimpy elements in there the jerky 4 frame jitter animations the super detailed nasty close-ups I AM LOVIN` IT
