ok aggainst my better judgement i bought this game, so far its boring to play but i like making movies like this
My first movie a romantic sci fi about a female space pilot from the future falling in love with a WWI german soldier,

that was awesome!! would of liked to see more chicks kissing.. maybe a close up.. i dont have the movies, but cant you record your own audio? i would much rather hear you pull off some of you funny voices over the characters than the backwards talk.. and even an original score would be cool.. but the music you choose was pretty perfect.. make some more.. this makes me want to go buy this now...

this games frustrating, its so limited on animations, its hard to go into it with a plan of what you want to make, cause you never find the scenes you need.

also i HATE that you can view the stages and the acting in any angles you want, but when it goes to film you get the boring standard camera angle, sure you can SOMETIMES switch between one or 2 views, but what if i want to film a view from above as people walk down a hall,

I gave some friends a 2 hour crash course in modeling, rigging, texturing and animating the other day. This is the result! This isnt made with the movies, but it sure as hell shares lots of the narrative mastery, intense suspension, and limb clipping as the movies above.

well theres a lot of animations, but theres key ones missing, theres several animations of people carrying other people over their shoulder.. but NONe of people picking up or putting down other people,

and jsut when you start making movies you realize even if they have a 2 hundred animations, its no where near enough, "ok i want 2 people talking then a cell phone on a desk rings, then i want the one guy to cautiously pick it up " oh wait NO, "want someone to be talking to someone else, while walking and then acidently bump into someone else?" NO if you look thru about 5 movies on the movies webpage you will start to notice anims used oveer and over,

another thing that makes the animations seem so limmited, is that you can not control your camera , besides some scenes letting you use a couple difrent angles,, theres no freeform camera placement

on top of everything, its just not fun,

They desperatley needed the option to place characters individually in a scene with their own individual animations. If they wanted to be really helpful, giving the user the ability to flow animations into eachother would have been nice too.

Hell, The Simpsons Movie Maker was better than what we've been given here. Never the less as a quick time waster its a bit of fun, its just infuriating that it could have been so much better with a better thought out design. Maybe an expansion pack will take these issues into account... it could happen, right?

I doubt there will be an x-pack. I don't think it is selling well enough for it to be made. It's a good thing Lionhead has Fable and Black&White bringing in the cash.
